Robert Clark wrote a long letter describing his genealogy in 1927.  He was 83 at the time.  It was difficult to read. The writing grew progressively worse and it was written with pen and ink which tends to be messy. Many spellings are known to be wrong. The Clarks were all Methodists and many were involved in founding Methodist Churches.
